The Blessing: Every Christian can finish well by following the biblical directives established by the apostle Paul.

Directive #1: Follow Jesus!

   -Follow Christ by enduring

   -Follow Christ by completing the work God gave you to do.

   -Follow Christ by living obedient.

   The Drifter, the Driver, the Partner

Directive #2: Live in partnership with the Holy Spirit!

Finishing Well—Six Characteristics (Dr. Robert Clinton)

   1)Maintain an intimate relationship with the Lord. John 15:5

   2)Stay teachable. James 1:21

   3)Strive for Christlike character. Romans 8:29

   4)Know and walk in God’s truth. John 17:17

   5)Live fruit-bearing lives. Galatians 5:22-23

   6)Keep an eternal focus. Matthew 6:19-20
