Why Compromise in Church is Dangerous

1.The Compromising Church Lacks Boldness

Hebrews 4:16

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

1 Corinthians 16:13

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

2.A silent Compromising Church allows false teaching-Don’t rock the Boat

2 Timothy 4:3-4

3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

3.God’s Word is NOT Silent About Sin

Hebrews 10:26

For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins

5.You Cannot Love Christ and the World

James 4:4

You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
